The King is Coming: The Marriage of the Lamb
Revelation 19 |
"Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Le us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear."
Jesus is the only groom who laid down His life for his bride and then was resurrected, that He might be able to redeem her, cleanse her, and marry her.
How does the Bride make herself ready?
By the way of the Cross of Calvary
Through the indwelling Spirit enabling her to do the works of God.
Via the resurrection of the "dead in Christ" or the Rapture.
And the Purge of the "old man" at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
She is clothed in fine linen, and the fine linedn is te righteous deeds of the saints. The clothes that are worn, the white linen that is pure and clean, is what God does with our works at the Judgement Seat. Whatever comes out of the fire (gold, silver and preciouse stones) is used then to weave our garments.
What we weave on earth we wear in heaven!
